Terms of service
The short version of how we work: what a quote covers, what you provide, how payment and changes work, who owns the website and which outside services it depends on.
Quotes and scope
Every project starts with a written scope: which pages and features are included, which are not, the price and how it is paid. Prices shown on this website are starting points until confirmed in that document. A quote is valid for 30 days. Anything not listed in the scope is extra work and is quoted separately before we do it.
What you provide
You supply your logo, the texts in one language (we translate them into the other), your photos, and your business details such as address, hours and phone numbers. Writing your texts from scratch and photography are not included unless the scope says so. Work starts once we have the first payment and these materials; the calendar depends on when we receive them.
Your accounts, never your passwords
The domain, the code repository and the mailbox that receives the contact form are opened in your name. We ask you to grant us access from your own accounts; we never ask for your passwords. Publishing the website does not touch your business email.
Payment
Projects are paid in the stages set out in the scope, starting with a first payment before work begins. We issue an invoice for every payment. The website goes live on your domain once the project is paid.
Review and changes
You see the website online, from your phone and computer, before it is published on your domain. Two rounds of changes are included. Further rounds, new pages or new features after delivery are quoted separately or handled under a maintenance plan.
Ownership
Once paid, the website is yours: the files, the domain and the accounts stay in your name, and you can take them to someone else at any time. We may mention the project as our work, with a link to your website, unless you ask us not to.
Third-party services
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages and the contact form is delivered by FormSubmit; the domain is held by the registrar of your choice. These are outside services with their own terms, and we do not control their availability or their free tiers. If one of them changes or stops working, replacing it is separate work or part of maintenance.
Maintenance
A website does not need maintenance to stay online. If you want us to make changes, watch that the site is up and that the form arrives, and answer your questions, that is a monthly plan described in its own written proposal.
Use of this website
The content of this website is general information about our services. It may be updated at any time. Nothing here is a contract until it is confirmed in a written scope signed by both sides.
